Established in 1953, West View Elementary is governed by Muncie Community Schools. Located in Muncie, Ind., the elementary school provides learning opportunities to more than 300 students. It maintains a media center and its library features textbooks, reference materials and newsletters. The school also maintains a gymnasium. West View Elementary s staff includes classroom teachers, music, art and physical educators and a counselor, nurse, resource, as well as special education teacher. It also employs a speech and language pathologist, psychologist, secretary, media specialist, technology coordinator, library assistant, building instructional assistant and custodians. Additionally, the school offers food services to students.
