Incorporated in 1939, Verendrye Electric Cooperative serves more than 10,000 customers in more than five counties of Minot in North Dakota. It is a nonprofit corporation that offers a range of electric services and maintains a staff of over 50 full-time employees. The cooperative provides online information on installation of electric water heaters, power generators, barbecue grills and heat pumps. Verendrye Electric Cooperative offers a variety of energy conservation services. It maintains a member service department, as well as provides online information on installation of electric equipment. The cooperative administers Pay-By-Bank and E-Bill programs, which offer electric bill payment solutions. Verendrye Electric Cooperative provides pole testing, inspection and replacement services.
