Established in 1952, The Beacon Group is a nonprofit agency that offers a variety of care and support services for the individuals with developmental disabilities. The agency annually serves more than 1,600 individuals with mental, physical and psychiatric disabilities. It is one of the largest employers of people with disabilities in Southern Arizona. The Beacon Group provides on-going support and supervision services for individuals serving the hospitality, food service, custodial and manufacturing industries. The company offers assistance to develop the early intervention and child management skills of parents with developmentally disabled children. In addition, it provides work adjustment and job development and placement programs.
