Student Union & Activities is a part of the Division of Student Affairs, which is administered by the Texas Tech University. The union offers opportunities for relaxation, educational exchange and social interaction to students, staff and faculties. It maintains the Allen Theatre, which is equipped with advanced sound and lighting systems. Student Union & Activities also operates ticket booth and mailing service centers. The union organizes a variety of activities, including Arbor Day, Homecoming, RaiderGate, Rock The Plaza, and Town & Gown Series. In addition, Student Union & Activities operates more than 350 registered student organizations that include academic, professional and religious groups.
