Established in 1961, Stonewall Elementary School is located in Lexington, Ky. The school enrolls more than 700 students in grades kindergarten through five. Its curriculum includes reading and writing, language arts, foreign language, math, science and social studies. The student-teacher ratio in the school is 17-to-1. Every year, the school organizes events, such as open house, winterfest, art fair, pizza supper and several family fun nights. It is part of Fayette County Public Schools. In 1995, the Fayette County Board of Education designated Stonewall as magnet school.
