Incorporated in 1944, Stella Maris Child Center is one of the oldest child learning centers in the St. Louis metropolitan area. Based in St Louis, Mo., it is a not-for-profit center with an enrollment capacity of 144. It conducts various programs for infants, toddler and school-aged children. The center has 8 classrooms, a kitchen, outdoor play area and a gym, along with designated meeting rooms and a therapy room. Stella Maris Child Center is licensed by the Missouri Department of Health and implements the nationally accredited Parents as Teachers in the Child Care Setting program.
