The State Attorney's Office is governed by the City of Jacksonville in Florida. The office also operates a circuit court division that has jurisdiction over felony prosecutions. It manages special assault, homicide, public interest, and drug and vice units. In addition, the office maintains several diversionary programs designed to render justice without involvement in the traditional court system.
