Somerset Community College is a public institution that provides a range of educational opportunities to students in south-central Kentucky. It offers degree programs in business administration, accounting, finance, hospitality management, criminal justice, nursing and surgical technology. The college also provides diplomas and certificate programs in industrial maintenance, information technology, transportation and computer-aided drafting. Somerset Community College operates McCreary Center and Laurel Campus. In addition, the college offers online classes and distance learning programs. It maintains a work force solutions division that provides training and technical skills upgrade services. Somerset Community College is a member of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System.
