RTech was co-founded by John DeRuzza and Todd Langer in March of 1999. Both John and Todd knew that with the right technology, they could uncover pockets of billable items that due to high volume and complexity, incomplete systems and other resources, would be lost forever. The Company's focus then and today is to identify revenue and cash opportunities for teaching hospitals and offer data for performance metrics to improve systems and processes to sustain the discovered value. We wanted RTech to be unique and not have to go head-to-head with the myriad of revenue cycle consultants. To do that we invested in advanced state software tools and leveraged our knowledge with those tools. The proprietary software queries and our ability, through years of experience, enables us to continue to bring value to our growing list of prestigious clients. We also wanted a company where our employees would share in the success and develop long-term careers with us.
