The Riverwest Co-op Cafe opened in 2004 next to the store in what used to be the building's garage. We serve what we're confident is the best vegan and vegetarian food in town. The Cafe is open 7 am to 9 pm Monday through Friday and and 8 am to 9 pm on weekends. Outdoor seating is available when the weather is good. The Cafe menu is vegan/vegetarian made-to-order sandwiches, soups, desserts, and smoothies, using organic and locally grown produce whenever possible. A rotating selection of freshly-made vegan and vegetarian bakery and desserts are also featured. Our cooks takes great pride in using predominantly local, organic and small company produced ingredients. We now serve our full breakfast menu every morning with extended brunch hours on the weekends: 7 am until 11 am on weekdays and 8 am until 2 pm on the weekends. A limited version of our brunch menu can also be order at the Riverwest Public House from 11 am to 2 pm on weekends.
