Established in 1990, High Point Behavioral Health is a division of High Point Regional Health System. Its assessment center provides 24-hour assessments to individuals. High Point Behavioral Health has a psychiatric center that offers inpatient services, including psychiatric crisis stabilization, and detoxification from alcohol and drugs. The center additionally provides outpatient services that include psychiatric evaluation, medication management and a chemical dependency program. Its Recovery and Renewal Program offers group therapy, education, random urine drug screening and individual treatment planning. The center s staff includes psychiatrists and mental health professionals. The outpatient counseling program provides individual, family and couples therapies. High Point Behavioral Health is accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and licensed by the state of North Carolina.
