Paw Creek Elementary School has been operational for more than 50 years and houses administrative offices, regular working classrooms, an auditorium and cafeteria. The school serves students in kindergarten through grade five. It offers an accelerated reader program that improves students reading comprehension skills and increases overall student achievement. The school s academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as music, technology, art, English, math, science, social studies and physical education. It has a staff of regular classroom and speech teachers, a speech language pathologist, psychologist, counselor, social worker and technology assistant. Paw Creek Elementary School is a part of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools.
