Paul D. Wagner, MD, FACP, is a board-certified internal medicine doctor providing primary care at San Diego Medical Group, an independent practice in San Diego. He completed his residency training at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego and is board certified in Internal Medicine with a subspecialty in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Dr. Wagner is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. He also has memberships in the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Directors Association, California Medical Association, California Association of Long Term Care Medicine and the San Diego County Medical Society.Before becoming a doctor, Dr. Wagner spent six years studying for the ministry earning a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Arts in seminary. Dr. Wagner has been practicing medicine since 1995, and he believes his career "encompasses the entirety of my training in medicine and the ministry."
