Party Galaxy started its life in 1937 as MG novelty, a small decoration and carnival supply wholesale company. MG novelty operated in this same fashion until 1982 when they opened their first retail store in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma due to the numerous requests that their wholesale line of goods be made available to the general public. In 2001, MG novelty decided to change its name to Party Galaxy and expand its operations. As of July 2009 their are 8 retail locations in the metropolitan Oklahoma City area and three temporary seasonal costume outlets in this same region. In July of 2009 Party Galaxy launched its retail website PartyGalaxy.com. The website will utilize the same 40, 000 square feet centralized warehouse that provides goods for the retail stores. All items on the website (with the exception of coming soon items) are in stock and usually shipped the same day. Party Galaxy has been a long standing, highly respected member of its local business community and will provide the same customer service and integrity on its website.
