Dr. Alex Giannakakos has deep roots in Staten Island, New York, where his medical practice, Alexandros Giannakakos, MD, has provided comprehensive gynecological services for nearly 30 years. His patients rely on his expertise and willingness to talk with them about their health and how to prevent disease. In addition to offering a full range of women’s health services, Dr. Giannakakos expanded his practice to provide aesthetic procedures. He welcomes men and women who want to improve their appearance, whether they want laser hair removal, skin tightening, laser lipolysis, or other rejuvenating procedures. Dr. Giannakakos received his Doctor of Medicine from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine in 1989. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Staten Island University Hospital and is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. After forming the NU-U corporation, he opened his practice in Staten Island, and continues to serve as one of the community’s most respected physicians.
