Founded in 1927, Neighborhood House Inc. is a multi-purpose community center. Located in Wilmington, Del., it offers various programs and services, such as the family, youth development, weatherization, crisis relief as well as housing. The center caters to the needs of the residents of South Wilmington and New Castle County. Neighborhood House Inc. is a United Way member agency and also a national mission institution of global ministries, The United Methodist Church. It is a recipient of the 2009 Home Free-USA President's Award for its achievement in housing counseling.
