Opened in 1956, Mill Creek Elementary School serves more than 400 students in kindergarten through grade six. The school s staff includes a speech therapist, counselor, reading specialist and custodian. The school has a computer lab that includes more than 30 computers. Additionally, each classroom of the school features a networked computer. Its students participate in the Math Olympiad and National Geography Bee. The school also conducts after-school tutorial sessions in math and reading. Mill Creek Elementary School is a part of the Granite School District, which includes Arcadia Elementary School, Cottonwood Elementary School, Eastwood Elementary School and Skyline High School. Mill Creek Elementary School is located in Salt Lake City.
