As a father and son team we have over 80 years (Michael has 22 years and Sid has 58 years) of combined experience in the financial services industry and hold various certifications and licenses. Michael holds several designations and the combination as a CPA (Certified Public Accountant), PFS (Personal Financial Specialist), CFP(CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER practitioner), and CDFA(Certified Divorce Financial Analyst), creates a solid foundation for the review of the many complex tax planning strategies and financial situations that our clients are faced with each day. Michael received the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst designation from the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts. As a CDFA, he has met the requirement of three years' experience as a financial professional, accountant, or matrimonial lawyer. Michael has also completed a series of self-study courses and passed an exam for each course. By completing this specialized training, he has learned how to help clients with financial issues that will affect the rest of their lives, including those issues affected by decisions concerning personal vs. marital property, spousal and child support, and valuing and dividing property. The people we work with come from many different industries and cultures. The majority are divorced or widowed women, retired individuals and small business owners.
