Cancer Therapy & Research Center is one of the leading oncology centers in the United States. A nonprofit organization, it has been operational for more than 40 years. Based in San Antonio, the center serves more than 5,000 cancer patients annually. A member of the South Texas Medical Center, it offers a wide variety of outreach programs, breast cancer awareness and early detection services and educational programs for elementary school children, including bosom buddies, team health and corporate outreach programs. The center also provides a one-year training program in medical dosimetry, clinical and didactic training, summer undergraduate research fellowship programs, clinical researches, and advanced oncology drug development programs.
