Founded in 2002, Positive Vibe Caf provides hands-on training and meaningful employment in food services to individuals with physical and developmental disabilities. It offers various training programs that focus on workplace communication, customer service, sanitation and cleaning, kitchen safety, food preparation, knife safety, dishwashing, bussing and tables setting. Positive Vibe Caf employs trainers who work with students to prepare them for the job interview process. Its menu includes wood-grilled shrimp, grilled calamari, fried green tomatoes, shellfish roller coaster and almond-crusted Brie. Positive Vibe Caf also serves Greek, Caesar, poached shellfish and smoked buffalo salads. Its entr e menu features fried oysters, stuffed portobello and tots, crab cakes, house-smoked buffalo barbecue brisket, Caribbean-jerked catfish, shrimp pasta and blackened certified Angus rib eye steak.
