I opened my agency in the Bronzeville community in 2015 and have enjoyed every bit of it. Being an agency owner allows me to help all different types of people on how to better understand the coverage that fits their lifestyles.

I’ve been a member of this community since 1993, so it feels great serving the neighborhood that has given so much to me. I love Chicago because it’s filled with plenty of attractions, including 31st Street Beach, the Magnificent Mile and, of course, the Chicago White Sox! Outside of work, I enjoy riding my bike on the lakefront, attending summer festivals and spending time with my wife, Betty, and two sons, Marvin and Austin.

As a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., I’m actively involved in the Chicago Alumni Chapter of the organization. We take pride in mentoring young black students and helping youth gain admission into the nation’s top universities. I’m also a member of the GAP Community Organization. We’re a group that focuses on the protection and development of the neighborhood between the North/South boundaries of 35th Street and 31st Street, and the East/West boundaries of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and LaSalle Street. Lastly, I also work with the Black Star Project, which focuses on improving the quality of life for black and latino people nationwide.

I became an insurance agent because a good friend kept encouraging me. I’m glad I listened because this job has allowed me to help people from all stages of life. My agency team is local, honest and dedicated, and we strive to provide the best customer service possible. My office is located on 31st Street between Indiana and Prairie avenues.
