Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta, founded in 1910, undertakes community programs and operates recreational facilities. The amenities offered by the center include swimming pool; fitness areas and gymnasium; jogging and walking tracks; teen and child care centers; meeting rooms and conventional hall. The center also provides swimming lessons, yoga classes, craft workshops, nutrition and diet counseling, and aerobic classes. The services offered by the center include rehabilitation programs; development of independent living skills; financial and medical insurance assistance; and coordination of clinical, educational and health care programs. The center also organizes diversified programs and recreational activities, such as festivals, community special events, concerts and outdoor events. It is a member of Jewish Community Centers Association of North America, and is located in Dunwoody, Ga.
