Founded in 1913, Malabar Elementary offers a variety of educational opportunities and enrolls students in grades kindergarten through five. It offers a variety of academic courses, including computer science, art, business education, mathematics, music, English, physical education, foreign languages, science, health education and social science. The school has a computer laboratory, library and cafeteria. Its library has a collection of several adventure, fantasy, science and reference books.
