Louis Stokes Head Start Day Care Center was dedicated in June 1997. The center was built specifically to serve the needs of pre-school children in the Metropolitan Cleveland Area. Louis Stokes Head Start Day Care Center was named for Congressman Louis Stokes for his dedication in fighting for the rights of Cleveland s disadvantaged. Located in Cleveland, Louis Stokes Head Start Day Care Center is a privately owned company that employs nearly 70 people.
