Los Gatos Swim and Racquet Club, located in Los Gatos, Calif., was founded in 1959 and is one of the oldest fitness clubs in Northern California. Its more than five-acre facility is family owned and operated, offering a variety of programs in aquatics, children's programs, fitness and group exercise, tennis and yoga. The club offers a nonproprietary, non-assessable membership. Members receive The Racqueteer, a monthly newsletter about club events and activities. Children ages seven to 12 may use the club without direct supervision as long as a parent or guardian is on the premises. Seven to twelve year olds may use the junior lounge, lawn, blacktop and playground areas.
