Lesley D. Wilkinson, MD, is a board-certified family medicine doctor. She provides primary care for patients of all ages, including preventive care and treatment of acute and chronic diseases.Dr. Wilkinson appreciates the full range and variety of family medicine practice, and especially enjoys providing care for the entire family including child and prenatal care. As a professor of family medicine and public health, Dr. Wilkinson is involved in training medical students and residents at UC San Diego School of Medicine. She enjoys teaching core physician-patient communication skills and helping her students navigate the challenges of complex medical care.Dr. Wilkinson completed her residency training at UCLA School of Medicine. She earned her medical degree at UC San Francisco School of Medicine. Prior to joining UC San Diego Health , Dr. Wilkinson was a practicing faculty member in Family Medicine at UCLA. She is board-certified in family medicine. She speaks very limited Spanish.
