Traditional estate planners just sell documents to their clients. I make sure parents have a solid plan in place, that works when you need it, so your children are always taken care of by the people you want, in the way you want, no matter what. My second primary clients are 1-2 owner businesses, who want a simple plan to ensure their assets and wealth are not lost to frivolous lawsuits or future creditors. Simply having an LLC does not always provide the level of protection its owners may believe they have. My third primary clients are people who own rental / investment property in their own name, but would like to reduce their risk and exposure through business planning. Proper planning can help avoid excise tax, avoid triggering a "due-on-sale" clause, and keep your ownership details out of public databases.
