Dr. Hurst is an Endocrinologist who has been working with New York Physicians since November 2016, bringing her expertise in all areas of the endocrinology to the practice. She has board certifications in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, as well as extensive experience in the management of diabetes and thyroid disease. Additionally, Dr. Hurst has a special interest in womens health issues including infertility, menstrual disorders as well as osteoporosis.Dr. Hurst received her medical degree from SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn and went on to complete her internship, residency, and fellowship at NYU Medical Center, after which she began practicing endocrinology in Forest Hills, Queen in 2005. Dr. Hurst is a faculty member of NYUs Division of Endocrinology and has extensive teaching experience with the fellows at NYU and through her outpatient mentorship of SUNY Downstate medical students.
