Johnson Elementary School serves students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The school offers a variety of activities, including student council, chorus, flag and recycling teams, and walking, drama and beta clubs. In addition, it conducts various after-school programs. Johnson Elementary School also operates a library and media center that offers an accelerated reader program. Its academic curriculum includes English, mathematics, science, social studies, computer literacy, art, and health and physical education. Additionally, the school has a guidance counseling department for students, parents and teachers. Located in Franklin, Tenn., Johnson Elementary School is a part of the Franklin Special School District.
