Idylwild Elementary School is operated by Alachua County Public Schools and is located in Gainesville, Fla. The school has a staff of more than 75 full-time teachers and paraprofessionals, including speech and language therapists, curriculum resource teachers, reading coaches, database specialists, media aides and custodians. It organizes various extracurricular programs, including a Veterans Day concert, winter band, spring concert, and chorus and orphan's winter holidays. The school operates a book store, as well as an accelerated reader program. It maintains a parent-teacher association that conducts periodic meetings and organizes various events and activities. Idylwild Elementary School teaches students in kindergarten through grade five.
