Ida Price Middle School is a California Distinguished School and operated by the Cambrian School District. It has a staff of more than 40 teachers that provides classes in a variety of subjects, including reading, language arts, mathematics, science, history, social studies, health education and foreign language. The school organizes various extracurricular events, such as magazine drives, school-based day, grade six conferences and morning coffee programs for parents. It has a counseling department that communicates with parents, teachers and administrators regarding student issues and needs. The school has a school site council, which monitors categorical programs that supplement the school budget. Ida Price Middle School offers academic services to students in grades six through eight and is located in San Jose, Calif.
