The Hospice of Lansing is a nonprofit organization that provides health care services to terminally ill patients. It is a member of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, Michigan Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and Michigan Home Health Association. The Hospice of Lansing serves patients in hospitals, nursing homes and assisted living facilities. It provides support services, including running errands, preparing light meals, and offering emotional support and companionship to patients. In addition, the center provides bereavement and spiritual support services to help patients and their families cope with emotional challenges. The Hospice of Lansing has been operational since 1979 and is located in Lansing, Mich.
