Established in 1914, Highland Park Elementary School offers academic classes to more than 700 students in grades prekindergarten through five. The school teaches a variety of subjects, such as English, math, physical and special education, reading, writing, music and basic skills. Its facility includes a cafeteria, media center, computer lab and music room. It also has a library that provides a large section of reference books, archives, biographies, database, encyclopedias, online dictionaries, newspapers and magazines. Its parent-teacher association sponsors various family events and academic enrichment programs throughout the school year. It also provides health and transportation services.
