What is Home Care? This is a difficult question. Our goal here at Heart of Gold is to invent our own definition of 'home care'. Every client has their own unique set of circumstances. We support the individual approach because everyone has different needs. We aspire to be the most reliable and caring agency in Northeastern Pennsylvania! As stated on our home page's mission statement, we assist seniors or those who wish to stay in their own home to avoid nursing homes or assisted living facilities. This brings us back to the question, 'what is home care?' To us, home care is more than sending a PCA (Personal Care Aide) to your home. We spend time searching for the right aide for YOU. We communicate with our clients to ensure that your needs are being met and that you have an aide that is right for YOU. Communication is essential to this process. We aspire to provide a personalized service to every one of our clients. It is important that you are not just staying in your house, you are continuing to live in your home.
