Grant Elementary School enrolls students in kindergarten through grade six. It provides educational opportunities for the development of academic, social and career skills. The school s academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as math, art, science, social studies and physical education. It also offers an accelerated reading program that provides a computerized reading assessment tool for teachers to individualize reading programs for all students. The school s newspaper club meets once a week to write and produce a student newspaper, Kids' Connection. Additionally, it recognizes student birthdays monthly with a birthday card and Grant School pencil. Grant Elementary School provides academic counseling and career guidance to students.
