Located in Chicago, G. R. Clark Elementary School is a magnet school that is a part of Chicago Public Schools, which is one of the largest school systems in the United States with an enrollment of more than 415,000 students in over 615 educational institutions. The school has a staff of approximately 75 full-time certified teachers and paraprofessionals. G. R. Clark Elementary School serves nearly 385 students in prekindergarten through grade eight. It is a part of the South Austin Magnet Cluster and it puts an emphasis on fine and performing arts and technology innovation. In addition, the school provides programs for autistic and physically handicapped children. Established in 1927, G. R. Clark Elementary School features a library, gymnasium, cafeteria, sports field, art and music rooms, and science and computer laboratories.
