G and I Shades opened for business in January of 1980. They specialize in commercial projects and produce customized work that is not readily available from retailers, which means all work is made to order. Their work entails manufacturing window shades, swags, valances, and a variety of other window treatments. Guillermo Grijalva and Ignacio Villegas created the partnership, which is now a successful company. Guillermo and Ignacio were introduced to the drapery business in their previous employment. This sparked an interest for designing and manufacturing window treatments.
