Elwoods Appliance started out as Sharkys Appliance (ED Sharky) in 1946. Roy Elwood had been a TV repairman for 20 years working with magnavox tv. Ed Sharky wanted my grandfather (Roy) to come work for him, So he did ( 1970). After almost 30 years in the business ED Sharky decided to retire. Roy Elwood bought the Business in 1975. Roy's son Michael Elwood had also been in the TV repair business went to work for his dad Roy.

In the late 80's, Roy fell ill and left Elwoods Appliance . He made a full recovery , but decided to stay retired. Michael ran the family business. In the mid 90's Ben Elwood (Michaels son) joined Elwoods Appliance. Where Michael and his son ran the Family Business. In the Mid 2000's Michael fell ill and had to leave the Family Business. Ben Elwood is the current owner. 3 STRONG GENERATIONS of ELWOODS serving the Fort Wayne and surrounding communities. We have made it through many storms and still standing strong for our Loyal Customers.
