Elizabeth Eden, M.D., F.A.C.O.G. is a gynecologist with a private practice located in Sutton Place, New York. Dr. Eden has dedicated her professional career to providing personalized care to women living in New York City and well beyond. Dr. Eden’s patients are New York City residents, as well as residents across the globe. She is concerned with women's health & wellness, sexual health, adolescent gynecology, and easing the journey through menopause and beyond. Dr. Eden spends ample time with her patients, enabling her to build strong one-on-one relationships. She tailors her care to the individual needs of each patient, treating the whole person, rather than a symptom. Dr. Eden takes a holistic approach when treating patients and is a firm believer of the many healing benefits of yoga.
Dr. Eden is President of the New York Gynecological Society. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is an active fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a member of the North American Menopause Society, Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, and Psi Chi, The International Honor Society in Psychology. Dr. Eden earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, at Colgate University in Hamilton, New York, where she majored in psychology and minored in music. She then completed her premedical studies at Columbia University in New York City. She received her medical degree from New York University School of Medicine, graduating with honors in 1987. She completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City.
