He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, having received, following full five-year training in general surgery, specialty training at Vanderbilt University Medical System- one of the most rigorous and sought-after training programs in the world. Dr. Carpenter began practice at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas and maintains operating privileges at Baylor affiliated medical centers-Baylor Medical Center-Uptown and Baylor Surgicare North Dallas.
