Bio: Patrick Ross Scott, PhD, LCSW, DCSW, FAPA is Executive Vice President and Clinical Director of Heads Up Guidance & Wellness Centers of Nevada. Former clinical social work specialist and clinical manager at the Emergency Department of Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, California, Dr. Scott brings additional specialties in unconcscious mind integration, mental health, executive and leadership development, healthcare administration, mediation, crisis intervention, and conflict resolution between disparate groups. Licenses/Certifications: Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Master Practitioner and Trainer of Hypnotherapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) & Mental Emotional Release Therapy (MER). Certified Consulting Hypnotist, Certified Hypnotherapist. Affiliations: Dr. Scott is a Diplomate in Clinical Social Work (DCSW) and a Fellow of The American Psychotherapy Association (FAPA), a Charter Member of The Association for Integrative Psychology (AIP), a Certified Trainer & Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), a Certified Trainer & Master Practitioner of Mental Emotional Release Therapy (MER) and a Certified Master & Consulting Hypnotist. Additionally, he is a member in good standing of The National Association of Social Workers (NASW), The National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH) and The American Psychotherapy Association (APA). Dr. Scott serves as Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry in The Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at The University of Nevada School of Medicine, Adjunct Assistant Professor of Hypnotherapy, Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) and Energy Work for Touro University Nevada Medical School and Instructor at Kona University. All these faculty appointments draw upon Dr. Scott’s background in unconscious mind integration where he teaches psychiatrists, medical residents and medical students to incorporate alternative methods to the healing process. Additionally, he has served as Adjunct Professor of Social Work for California State University Long Beach and supervised graduate students from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), University of Southern California (USC) and Loma Linda University.
