Dr. Daniel is originally from Union City, Tennessee. She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro where she was named a member of the Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society, Dr. Daniel received her doctorate from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis where she graduated magna cum laude, was named a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society and received recognition for Excellence in Pediatrics and Vision Therapy.

Dr. Daniel was named "Who’s Who in America’s Colleges and Universities" while attending both undergraduate and graduate school in recognition of academic excellence and leadership, and was also named an honoree for Memphis' Finest Young Professionals for 2012. She is currently a member of the American Optometric Association and the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians.


Her research efforts have largely been focused on the safety and efficacy of Intense Pulsed Light therapy as a treatment for Dry Eye Syndrome. www.toyosclinic.com
