Dr. Herron received his Doctorate of Medicine at Ross University. He performed his surgical training at York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania where he was Chief Resident. During this time he decided that he wanted to further his surgical training in the hand and upper extremity. His fellowship training was completed at the University of Alabama at Birmingham under the tutelage of world renowned hand and upper extremity surgeon, Dr. Thomas R. Hunt III. While at UAB, Dr. Herron was trained in all facets of upper extremity surgery including microvascular surgery. Dr. Herrons extensive surgical background has allowed him to further focus on the diagnosis and treatment of venous and lymphatic disorders.
