Dr. Joseph Yaker attended the University of Texas at Austin, and later completed his medical training at Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his internship in general surgery at the Mayo Clinic, and is board certified in family medicine after finalizing his residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
Dr. Yaker discovered a true passion for aesthetics, anti-aging, regenerative medicine, and specifically, the art of hair restoration while working with his father, a plastic and reconstructive surgeon.
Dr. Yaker completed a fellowship in hair transplant surgery under the esteemed Dr. Mark S. DiStefano at the DiStefano Hair Restoration Centers in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. In addition, Dr. Yaker is fellowship trained with the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine where he is board certified in Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine.
As a hair loss specialist and hair restoration surgeon specializing in the prevention and treatment of hair loss in both men and women, Dr. Yaker and his team offer only the most progressive, state-of-the-art, surgical and nonsurgical treatments that include PRP, stem cell therapy, FUE and FUT technology. Through FUE specifically, Dr. Yaker is able to naturally and artistically restore hair with little-to-no downtime.
