Jacquelyn Nystrom, MD, MPH, is a board-certified family medicine physician who specializes in women’s and children’s health care at AdventHealth Medical Group’s family medicine practice in Lake Nona. Her credentials include her medical degree from the Emory University School of Medicine and master’s degree from Emory’s Rollins School of Public Health, as well as her residency in family medicine undertaken at Florida Hospital (now AdventHealth) in Orlando, where she served as Chief Resident. Patients regularly visit Dr. Nystrom for school, sports and employment physicals, treatment of minor injuries, well-child and well-infant exams, CDC-recommended vaccinations and flu shots, recommended health screenings and management of chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, obesity and more. Awards & Recognition As a resident, Dr. Nystrom was Intern of the Year and Chief Resident.  As a practicing physician, she was Vice Chair of the Department of Medicine at St. Cloud Regional Hospital. She has been a faculty member of the Florida State University Medical School since approximately 2009.
