Dr. Gonzalo Ramos is a board-certified physician who specializes in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics. He joins the Partners in Primary Care Gulfgate team after working in medicine for more than 12 years.

Dr. Ramos attended medical school at the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI, and his Geriatrics fellowship at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. He speaks both English and Spanish.

Dr. Ramos says he enjoys developing relationships with his patients and ultimately helping them feel better. He became a doctor to help others, and says he grounds relationships with his patients in trust and respect. Dr. Ramos was drawn to Partners in Primary Care for its collaborative approach to patient care.

When he’s not at the office, Dr. Ramos enjoys spending time with his family and three children, as well as reading and playing basketball.
