Dr. Francisca Yao received her B.A. in Biology from Cornell University and her M.D. from Drexel University where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She subsequently completed her residency in Otolaryngology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY and is board certified by The American Board of Otolaryngology as well as a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. Dr. Yao practices general otolaryngology for both pediatric and adult patients with a comprehensive background in all aspects of ear, nose and throat disorders. She focuses on helping patients understand their conditions as well as the medical and surgical treatment options available for their individual situation. Dr. Yao has particular interests in age associated hearing loss, vertigo, nasal polyps and allergy.
