Dr. Andrew Smith is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.
He completed his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at Brown University and a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Rush University. He has served as a sideline physician for many sports teams including Ivy League Football at Brown University, NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Ice hockey, AHL for Providence Bruins, Arena Football for the Chicago Rush, MLB for the Chicago White Sox and the PGA at the Deutsche Bank Championship. In addition to sports medicine, Dr. Smith also has extensive training in fracture care and completed an Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship at Brown University. He specializes in arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgery. His mission is to restore all of his patients to their pre-injury level of function. Dr. Smith currently sees patients at our main office in Hyannis and Sandwich. He performs the majority of his surgery at Cape Cod Hospital.

Dr. Smith is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
