I was born in Vicksburg, MS. My career as a dentist started in 2003 after I earned my first dental degree, DDS from Mashad University of Medical Sciences, Iran. Following my return to the United States, I went to the University of Pennsylvania, PA where I graduated in the top of my class and earn my second dental degree, DMD. I then completed a two-year post graduate training at the University of Detroit Mercy, MI and awarded my third dental degree, MS in Orthodontics. To demonstrate my excellence in the field of orthodontics, I participate in examination process of the American Board of Orthodontics. Through this, I became a Board Certified Orthodontist and awarded the title of Diplomate of The American Board of Orthodontics. Only a very small group of orthodontists in the world earn this additional title. I live in Houston now and love being here. I enjoy being active, especially swimming and biking. In fact, I have biked almost all the major trails in the Houston metro area. I am also a healthy eater and have developed many great-tasting recipes. Music is very important to me, particularly instrumentals. I almost always have something playing. While I enjoy reading a good book, these days I find myself listening more to audio books than reading physical books. My favorite books are How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie, Good to Great and Great by Choice by Jim Collins, The Tipping Point and Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell. I enjoy watching TV shows Key & Peele, The Mentalist, House of Cards and NCIS. I like the movies of Kevin Spacey, Russell Crowe, Christian Bale, and Charlize Theron. Particularly, I like The Usual Suspects, The Dark Knight, The Green Mile and Dumb and Dumber.
