Detroit Behavioral Institute | Capstone Academy is a bed residential facility located in Midtown Detroit. Our adolescent treatment programs treat youth with mental health and co-occurring disorders. Our programs for adjudicated youth or youth who have committed criminal acts are for clients who are required to undergo psychiatric treatment and referred by a court or family service agency. Additionally we offer programming for non-adjudicated youth including those who are involved with the Child Welfare system and are under the supervision of the Department of Human Services.

Our treatment programs use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as the main core of our therapeutic services. Other evidenced based as used as appropriate including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Behavior Modification, Play Therapy, and the Family System. All therapists are trained in CAFAS.
